DESCRIPTION OF THE GOOD PRACTICE:

Prevention team (PIT) is a project on conflict resolution and violence prevention. In this program, the coaches are connected as a team. The team consists of a police officer, two teachers, an employee of Youth Services and students. The team works for a longer time period and systematically linked. A special feature of the project is that the training team consists of representatives of various professions.

The team-building for conflict management and prevention is seen as a societal responsibility. An inter-institutional perspective is required. The participating organizations estimate the power of situations together to plan educational projects and share the responsibility for implementing the projects. The projects carried out mainly follow the concept of "being cool - stay cool " (see 2.12, page 36).

Training is for example with different methods:
- Individual, partner, group work
- Moderation, short presentations
- Practice exercises with feedback
- Relaxation exercises
- Applying media (flipchart, whiteboard, work sheets)
- Photo logs, checklists
