The project has been organized and implemented by teachers in psychology as well as the school psychologist, with the support of the school administrators and with the participation of all teachers from Vocational high school of forestry and woodworking

DESCRIPTION OF THE GOOD PRACTICE:

It is necessary for the students, parents and teachers to get acquainted in details with “What is aggression, how it is triggered and what are the consequences from aggression to a person and the people around him”.
- lecture “Physiological and psychological grounds of aggression” – a psychologist
- lecture “Physiological and psychological consequences of aggression” – a doctor
- lecture „Juridical intermediaries” – a lawyer
During the education were included film demonstrations, presentations of students’ reports on the topic “Aggression – necessity or choice”. The students from the higher grades were trained to train younger ones.

RESULTS:

Overall presentation to students, teachers and parents of the physiological and psychological grounds of aggression for the individual, who is implementing it towards him/herself or the others, as well as the punishment forces against such behavior. Students, parents and teachers consider their deeds and actions and the consequences from them. Responsibility is undertaken for one’s behavior.
The students from the higher grades teach younger students. Meetings-conversations are implemented, on which the children from the lower grades are being presented with the aggression phenomenon and the consequences from it. They learn how to avoid aggressive behavior (their own or someone else’s).
There is an essay competition “Life without aggression” and a drawing competition „Life is beautiful”.

EVALUATION:

The meetings of students, parents and teachers with a psychologist, a medical doctor and a lawyer contribute to the thorough understanding of how aggression is triggered, what forms it demonstrates itself into, when and why (what are the factors that arouse it), what are the consequences from it (psychological, physical and legal) and how it can be overcome.
Students, parents and teachers become more responsible for their actions and behavior. They adopt strategies for dealing with aggressive behavior. pages
