DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

Bullying is one of the most common forms of violence in schools, which is often not properly recognized and addressed. Strategies for action against violence are hardly available in the education of future teachers. Therefore, the author, who is consulting teacher by profession, has developed strategies that are now being used successfully. The approaches and methods described in this book, tackle Bullying at different levels (at the individual, class and school level). Already proven strategies and strategies developed by the author are discussed.
Target groups of this work are primarily teachers, parents, school psychologists and social workers.
The book is divided into five thematic sections, and contains an extensive bibliography and a booklet for parents that describes what parents should know about bullying and how they can help their children in bullying situations. In addition, there are links with additional materials such as worksheets and originals, which are updated continuously.
Basis of the book is to work with and between students. The levels bullying of students by teachers or the reversed case bullying towards teachers by pupils are not covered in this book.
The author has succeeded in using his long experience as a consulting teacher in a very sensible manner and provided a valuable document of practical relevance for other colleagues. Comprehensive measures on a preventive level and concrete intervention strategies are given by the author. This book is a must for committed school staff. The exercises are easy to understand and easy to implement.

Mustafa Jannan's book is clearly practical oriented and offers numerous preventive and educative games, exercises, surveys and school overall approaches against bullying and violence. This book is a practical assistance for school work and should be read by teachers and school staff. The reader is given the ability to define bullying, to recognize the phenomenon and to act both preventively and interceding. Here, the possible personal contribution of teachers and the involvement of parents are taken into account.
The clear and attractively designed templates and work materials, which are also available for download, and the defined the possibilities of prevention and intervention keep the promise of the title of the book. Additional support you get with a collection of links and references to literature.
Who works through the book will then show understanding and willingness to act systematically and comprehensively against Bullying.
