DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

This document has been chosen in order to learn more about bullying prevention programs implemented in Lithuania, to find out whether the school is working in the right direction. Most schools are involved merely episodic projects therefore all the prevention activities carried out in the initiative of individual employees.
This document includes some of the bullying problem solutions that are addressed through the implementation of prevention programs. The role of school in combating bullying is revealed, as well as the lack of political awareness and national attention to stopping the spread of the phenomenon. The emphasis is on the main reasons that hinder the successful implementation of prevention programs - a lack of management and school leaders’ involvement.
