DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

This document we explores three themes: The sources of violence in schools, School violence and democratic citizenship and School violence and intercultural education.

The first part develops ideas related to violence against pupils from teachers, the causes of inadequate behavior from teachers, schools as a general environment of violence, and finally about the violent pupil, which are his individual characteristics.
The second part insists on the democratic rights of the child in school.
In the last part the authors insist on ideas pertaining to discrimination and racism against Rroma and peer mediation.

This document is very important for the theme of school violence because the authors present in it three main lines strongly related to the topic. If we consider the purpose for which this document was elaborated and the institutions involved in its preparation we realize how important and useful it is.
