REVIEWER’S COMMENTS ON THE DOCUMENT:

This leaflet was chosen because it is one of the few informative leaflets regarding school bullying, that can be sent to anyone interested (teachers, students, parents, etc.). It is direct, as it focuses in practical matters (like victims’ and bullies’ behavior), giving a clear view to parents and teachers of school bullying phenomenon. It is written in simple and understandable language and gives advices to students in a very effective manner. Moreover, what is important in the specific leaflet is that it advises bullies’ parents. And it is important because not many school bullying articles deal with the “other side”, the side of bullies’ parents and family, whom the role is crucial in facing the problem and changing behaviors (if the appropriate support is provided). In few words, this leaflet deals with the most important and crucial issues regarding the school bullying phenomenon, as it includes a short definition of school bullying and its forms (physical violence, emotional, verbal, sexual and electronic violence), as well as the signs and the consequences to the victims. Furthermore, it advises the victims on how to face the bullies and how to behave when dealing with them, attempting, at the same time, to encourage them. Last, it consults victims’ and bullies’ parents and teachers.
