DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

The text is a practical guide for those who are interested in mobbing, hazing, stalking and bullying. All these new phenomena – with different features and related to a specific historical context – have in common the “social and personal conflict”. There are different ways to show “aggressive” violence that is particularly cruel and aberrant for the “psychopathological” consequences they may cause. Mobbing, hazing, stalking and bullying are the result of interior disaffection and personal uneasiness that the writers - who are experts in the psychological, psychopathological fields - have analyzed in this book. It is useful for parents, educators, social workers and those who want to know about these phenomena. After a long and complete introduction, the four "highly dysfunctional" modes are stated together with the analysis of the features, the history and the diagnosis. A chapter is dedicated to a legal profile of the four social phenomena and there are clinical psychometric assessment and treatment, where a psychopathological analysis is stated (adaptation, post-traumatic stress disorder, acute stress, mood). Then some test examples are used to "verify and assess the presence of disorder". In conclusion, the authors refer to forms of treatment of pharmacological and psychotherapeutic with cognitive-behavioral orientations and dynamic.
