DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

Most of the children suffer somehow mockery or other bullying acts; fortunately the strongest can endure and recover from it. However, recent studies show that victims sometimes suffer a lot, it does not matter if the bully wants to cause harm intentionally or only for joke! Victims may have difficulties in adulthood if they do not undergo a proper psychological intervention. In the last decades the research on this topic has been extended. In the same time psychologists have improved the research on communicative skills and have developed simple techniques and practices that everyone – children, adolescents, adults – can use. Psychology offers a wide range of opportunities to combat this phenomenon, which means that the situation has generally improved if we consider the past experience. Today there are many methods to be chosen to deal with the problem, but the own sixth sense and sensibleness are necessary to find out the most adequate strategy for us and for our children.
