DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

Individual liberty in the educational system is poorly understood by pupils and by parents and teachers alike. Although the main purpose of individual liberty was to decrease the level of violence in schools, it had quite the opposite effect. Regarded from this perspective the school can be seen as a source for violence.
Unlike aggression, which implies thought and analysis, violence is the action itself, the brutal disruption of the personality or the community that affects both individuals and the environment in which they live.

REVIEWER’S COMMENTS ON THE DOCUMENT:

In order to forestall and disarm violent behavior in schools we first need to clarify and understand the concept of violence, find its causes and ultimately to design the measures needed to be taken for control and prevention.
Violence is not hereditary, but it is contagious.
