DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

This report is an evaluation of an online survey, which was in the fall with the action since Stark (http://www.seitenstark.de/) agreed and launched in April 2007. A total of 1997 students participated from grades 1-13. The study provides results on the general aspects of bullying, such as victim and perpetrator, types and frequency of occurrence, as well as gender differences. Furthermore, the authors go a phenomenon on the Cyber bullying and provide a comparison to traditional bullying. Another part deals with the question of possible responses to bullying and how stakeholders handle it.

REVIEWER’S COMMENTS ON THE DOCUMENT:

This is not a strictly scientific report. The data were processed for general understanding and are thus suitable for a wide range of readers without a scientific background who want to get a first insight into the topic of bullying and cyberbullying.
