DESCRIPTION OF THE GOOD PRACTICE:

The overall objective of the project is to develop structures and mechanisms for information, training, monitoring and communication at local, regional and national levels to prevent and combat the phenomenon of violence in school, to develop the institutional capacity of the various structures involved in the field.

RESULTS:

The project "Youth against violence" aims to educate non-violence to children. By doing this the child won't pick up violent behavioral patterns from adults and most importantly he/she will not understand and accept violence as something natural. Moreover, children will learn how to manage their own conflicts and develop methods to assimilate non-violent relationship building, to develop and adopt a balanced behavior in relationships with others.

Drawing up a monitoring system of the phenomena of violence in schools;

Support for institutional development;

Training in preventing and combating violence at school;

Training program for pupils involved in conflict management and communication courses.

INDICATORS:

Definition of bullying or cyberbullying, Teacher training, School conferences, Peer support, Intensity teachers (10 h. or more).

EVALUATION:

This project will have 10 training modules on school violence, 4 train the trainers modules at a county level, a set of learning resources for students, 36 training sessions for county inspectors, 16 focus groups and roundtables at the regional level to identify specific problems and to make a needs analysis, 41 county resource centers to prevent and combat violence, 8 regional workshops for developing county actions plans to prevent and combat school violence.
