DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

In this presentation the author deals with the issue of combating school violence. To this end the author begins by explaining key concepts for consideration: aggression, violence, education and communication. He then stresses the psychological causes of violent behavior and the need to develop emotional intelligence. In the last part of the presentation Nechifor focuses on education with the help of computers and the effect on the lives of children and adolescents.

Throughout this presentation the author argues for better communication between schools, pupils and parents as a means of solving the problem of school violence. The material was developed by Constantin Nechifor, a consultant on the project 'Youth Against Violence'. He is an academic at the University Petre Andrei in Iasi.
