DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

This book deals with bullying in a psycho-socio-pedagogical way. the book can be divided into two parts: the first part focuses on the semantic analysis of the term, its dynamics, its causes and the role of the “bully” and of the “victim”. Bullying is considered an anti-social and deviating behavior and it is necessary to find out all peculiarities - especially sociological factors – that distinguish it from common misbehavior. Bullying is also considered a “fashionable” behavior and a sort of “vandalism caused by boredom”. The second part deals with various methodologies and related identification instruments used in the analysis of the phenomenon. A series of useful hints to create a plan of anti-bullying intervention according to a global approach is also included.
