Description of Dissemination Event:
A two-day national conference took place in the town of Silistra. The topic of the conference was "Civil education - successes and failures, lessons learned and opportunities". The national forum for discussing the experience and future of civil education was organized within the framework of the national campaign "I participate and I change" by the Ministry of education, youth and science, the Ombudsman institution and the Regional educational inspectorate - Silistra. The aim of the campaign is to stimulate the expansion of civil competences in education, to accentuate on the healthy way of life and non violent behavior of the students and parents. More than 80 participants from 37 towns took place in the conference. Through the direct and active involvement of the participants from Pleven school for children with special education needs, the "I am not scared" project was presented before the other participants from the whole country.
