Description of Dissemination Event:
This was a meeting of the Derbyshire strategy group for Anti Bullying, and members came from all services within the Derbyshire Children's Trust Board.The purpose of the meeting was to develop a strategy and action plan for preventing and tackling bullying in all Derbyshire establishments where young people either live or attend. At the meeting Helen gave out the project leaflets and made a presentation about the 'I am not Scared project'. The group will be drawing up a new Anti Bullying policy for all Derbyshire schools etc, a new award scheme and a new complaints procedure for Parents and Children along with a new complaints policy for all Derbyshire schools.
Target group:
At the meeting were Heads of all Childrens Services from Derbyshire, eg Head of all the MAT teams, a representative from Stonewall, Youth Services etc.

All the members were very interested and the chair of the meeting asked if they can contact the 'I am not Scared' UK project Co-ordinator (Wilsthorpe Community School) to ask for input on some of the work that they will be doing.
