DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

The author invites us to consider bullying from the point of view of the “process” and not from the point of view of the person anymore because that comes down to consider the situation as linked to pathological features or maladjusted behaviour of the person, without taking into account the group effects in the personality development as well as the school pressure, generator of stress
She also invites to take inspiration by the practices implemented abroad.

REVIEWER’S COMMENTS ON THE DOCUMENT:

In France, the use of a single word (bullying or vexation) to point out situations as different as the youths’ answer maltreated by the school system, real group effects badly regulated by the adults, or even adults’ mistreatment towards pupils say a lot about adults’ blindness about the subject.
