DESCRIPTION
OF THE ORGANISATION

INFOREF, “Initiatives pour une formation efficace” (Initiatives for efficient training), is a non-profit association of teachers and technical educational experts offering services to primary and secondary schools and also to adult education. INFOREF has a full time staff of nine people. INFOREF is also supported by several teachers, consultants and technical experts. The association disseminates relevant information on the educational innovative experiences and materials through the web site www.inforef.be

INFOREF also offers a support for the use of innovative teaching technologies and methodologies and for the introduction of innovative educational systems e-Learning based.

Our staff is specialized in the field of ICT and in the management of European projects (LLP Comenius and ICT).

Inforef has not specifically worked on violence or bullying problems within schools yet, but it has carried out several Comenius and ICT European projects in order to help pupils with dropping out of school problems. That’s why we have contacted the services for school mediation of the French Community of Belgium which have accepted to bring their expertise to this project.

CONTACT PERSON’S EXPERIENCE

Function: Directress of INFOREF.

Graduate in Romance Philology and holder of the agrégation for the upper secondary school.

In charge of the general management of the European projects and of the coordination of the educational teams involved in the projects.

More specifically responsible for the projects oriented towards social sciences and pedagogy.
