DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

This is the bullying web site of Derbyshire County Council and is intended for use by schools, parents and children. The site sets out Derbyshire's definition of bullying, says what the child can do and what parents can do to help their child, and then gives a series of links to useful sources of further information for parents (Keeping your Child Safe on the Internet); Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities; Guidance for Local Authorities; E-Safety etc.

REVIEWER’S COMMENTS ON THE DOCUMENT:

As our school is based on Derbyshire, and this is one of our preferred anti-bullying web sites which sets out clearly the anti-bullying role in Derbyshire schools. The site emphasises that all Derbyshire schools should have an anti-bullying co-ordinator and anti-bullying policy and this is available to parents as well as staff.
