The book describes what a child is experiencing when he/she is being bullied, names the risk factors that a particular child may become the object of ridicule, an overview of issues and factors associated with school and family. Also, it is given a story of a single adult, which has dealt in primary school with bullying and consequences of that experience. It discus the socialization process during childhood, the first social skills acquisition and gain of self-confidence and self-esteem. The book describes a number of primary school prevention measures to make children as less socially disadvantaged. Finally, the book describes what can be done to prevent the phenomenon of bullying and humiliation, what is possible to be done by a child, the school and parents.

The book speaks about what is almost not studied, but particularly poignant and relevant problem in Lithuania and often suffered by children and their parents.
