The developed municipal program for child protection of the municipality of Isperih, includes the following main priorities: priority i: diminishing child poverty and developing conditions for social inclusion of the children; priority ii: ensuring equal access to quality pre-school preparation and school education for all children; priority iii: improving the health of children; priority iv: encouraging child participation; priority v: protection of the children from all forms of abuse, violence and exploitation; priority vi: relaxation, free time and development of the talents and skills of the child.

The reviewed document has been developed in a convenient for practical work form, because it includes a description and interrelation between priorities, objectives, activities, responsible institutions, envisaged finances and terms for the achievement of the objectives. The development of the children and the protection of their rights is a national priority, requesting concentration of resources, constant political and social attention and maximum coordination of the policies. The municipal program for the child determines the priority directions and activities for improving the well being of the children in the municipality. The strategy has been accepted in relation to article 1, line 3 of the Law on child protection and is based on the National strategy for child protection, the general principles of the Convention for child rights of the United Nations Organization.
This strategy is a document, which could be interesting and useful for decision makers, who would be interested to multiply strategic and political acts of this kind and to follow an example of measures includes, results achieved and match-making between results and aims.
