The document analyzes the violence phenomenon and how it is formed in children. It analyzes also the factors leading to violence, the forms of violence, and victims of violence. The document contains also information about the legal documents – national and international, which aim at protection of children.
Despite the brevity of the document it can be very useful in terms of better understanding the phenomenon of violence among children and the factors contributing to it. The document would be particularly useful to parents because it contains specific advice directed to them:
• Forming a spirit of self-conduct in the child;
• Talk with children about dangerous situations and places;
• Explanation how the child can avoid aggression;
• Persuading the child that reporting the incident /for example at school / has nothing to do with calumny.
