DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

In this paper, we show a definition of the different phenomena and the students and teachers perception about school victimization, as a particular kind of aggression. They work from various studies that the authors have been involved integrating different perspectives of the problem. These studies are: the national survey included in the Ombudsman's report, a case study on the situation in a city and a retrospective study about the experiences of victimization experienced in the past at school.

REVIEWER’S COMMENTS ON THE DOCUMENT:

This article makes clear how often, is usually seen the school violence as a growing problem. However, observations or
explanations by teachers appear biased coming not differentiate terms such as assault or abuse, or reducing them to one of its forms (physical aggression). This is a difficult understanding of the diverse problems and their different importance in the current situation of school violence.
