In order to prevent violence in schools, workers from The Department of Crime Analysis and Prevention attended meetings with high school pupils.
They involved several high schools in Alba Iulia. Information and prevention activities on school violence issues and other matters will continue, both within schools already covered, and in other schools throughout the county of Alba Iulia.
Within the debates many topics were treated: risk perception in school violence, the factors that generate or maintain violent behavior, the circumstances of violent events, teachers’ attitude towards violence and not least the involvement of police in preventing and combating violence in schools.
Also, the police aimed to raise awareness on human trafficking.
