The workshop, organized in ten meetings lasting two hours each, offered at first literacy courses to acquire the language of advertising and then a course about the construction of a video product designed to enhance and promote their own school.
This media education strategy enhanced the acquisition of both new communication skills and a broader range of ways of expressing.
The teachers involved found, after some time, the persistence of pro-social attitudes as well as of friendlier behaviours
Definition of bullying or cyberbullying, Disciplinary methods, Classroom management, Teacher training, Classroom rules, Whole-school anti-bullying policy, Videos, Intensity teachers (10 h. or more), Intensity children (20 h or more).
The project demonstrates how media can become important tools for teenagers’ growth. The turning point is the acquisition of reading skills, of a critical point of view and of the ability to exploit in a profitable way all the opportunities provided by the media. pages
Media education is not the medicine that cures all worrying phenomena such as bullying, but it is certainly an effective cure.
